CSD-plugs

CE certified CSD sealing plugs are used to provide fire resistant as well as smoke, gas and water tight penetrations for pipes. In order to cater for the widest possible variety of requirements, the plugs are supplied in eight different rubber grades, including even an EMC-safe type. Besides sealing plugs for individually ducted cables or pipes, the product range also includes multi sealing plugs for two, three or five same diameter cables or pipes. CSD sealing plugs consist of two, three or four equal parts so that they can be installed after the cables or pipes have been laid. The plug halves are simple to install, and they also provide protection against water, gas and smoke. Simply lubricate the plug and push it in - that's it!

CSD sealing plugs possess a sealing power of 2 bar excess pressure at the rear of the plug. Considerably higher excess pressures have been measured at the flange side during pressure tests. Tests have shown that the sealing performance is retained in the long term and that it is not adversely affected by vibrations.

Crusher Plug

The Crusher Plug is a fire resistant plug for the sealing of penetration openings for pipes made of plastic, PVC, PP, PE and ABS. The Crusher Plug is made of a fire resistant rubber which - when exposed to flames or temperatures above 200 oC - will expand to more than twice its original volume.

As a result even thick-walled plastic pipes up to 225 mm in diameter are totally compressed and the penetration opening is totally closed off, so that the fire is prevented from spreading any further. In order to pre-empt the early softening of plastics, the space inside the penetration opening is packed with RISE material. This material will expand even more rapidly and violently than that of the Crusher Plug, and it will therefore close off the opening created by the softened or combusted pipe in a very short time.

CSD-SQ

The CSD-SQ transit plug has been specially designed to provide fire resistant as well as
gas and water tight sealing for small numbers of different-diameter cables.

After the cables have been ducted, the multi transit plug is sealed by placing BEEBLOCK cable
blocks around the cables and pushing them into the transit opening of the CSD-SQ plug.

This makes installation an extremely simple job: just lubricate the plug transit opening and the cable blocks and push all the parts evenly into the conduit opening.

LEAXEAL

LEAXEAL is a sealing system for providing individual fire resistant as well as gas and water tight seals for cables and pipes. The system is specifically intended for the sealing of single penetrations in existing openings requiring considerable tolerances in the penetration opening and the ducted cable or pipe to be bridged. The LEAXEAL clamp seals can be installed after the cable/pipe has been laid.

The clamp seal consists of two semicircular rubber parts which together form a sealing plug. At both sides of the plug there are two semicircular metal parts by means of which the seal is effected.

LEAXEAL clamp seals can bridge tolerances of 5mm. The maximum allowable pressure load is in excess of 2.5 bar.
