ULEPSI
The ULEPSI tank support is designed for application on board carriers for the transport of products which, for reasons of viscosity, have to be maintained at a high temperature level (asphalt, coal tar, creosote, etc.).
Apart from its temperature-reducing function, the ULEPSI tank support system is also specifically designed for compressive strength, which is necessary to be able to absorb the great weight of the cargo tanks. ULEPSI tank supports are certified for maximum loads up to 32 tons.

The ULEPSI tank support consists of a steel housing which contains sheets of
EPDM rubber and silicone rubber with a layer of glass reinforced synthetic
material on top.
The layered and compression resistant construction ensures that the temperature is gradually reduced to a reasonable level in order to relieve strains caused by the large temperature differences between the tank wall and sea-water. |
